Birds of the Water & Shore - Page 33 - Paul Chesterfield Photography

A new subject for me, but one that I hope to expand and improve upon as I gain experience.

This heron was along way away and the photo needed a hefty crop to make the composition, but I like the pose and the reflected colours.

I often try to photograph birds in flight, but the combination of a manual focussing lens and my slow reflexes usually defeat me. I do like this one, though.
